For me, music is full of endless possibilities. It can be something beautiful, pure, mournful, and at times ugly. Sometimes I would work on a note or a phrase over and over again for hours just to achieve the sound and color I hear in my head. "Without craftsmanship, inspiration is just a mere reed shaken in the wind" (Johannes Brahms). To be able to fully express oneself through the medium of music takes a lot of persistence and patience, but the outcome can be the most delightful thing. It’d be selfish to keep it to myself and I want to share it with the world. Maya Angelou once said, “People may forget what you did or say to them, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” I want my audience to feel rage when I do, feel sad when I do, feel excited when I do. I want to constantly keep them on the edges of their seats, to bring them on a journey that they have never been on before. And each piece of music will be a whole new adventure.
